　A paper by Prof. Katsuyoshi Kakinuma of Clean Energy Research Center (Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Nanomaterials Center) and Dr. Guoyu Shi of Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Nanomaterials Center, “NiFe Alloy Integrated with Amorphous/Crystalline NiFe Oxide as an Electrocatalyst for Alkaline Hydrogen and Oxygen Evolution Reactions” (https://doi.org/10.1021/acsomega.3c00322), published in ACS OMEGA by the American Chemical Society, was selected to be featured on the supplementary cover of the journal. This paper reported that the invention of a non-noble hydrogen oxidation / oxygen evolution catalyst for anion exchange membrane water electrolysers (AEM WEs). Prof. Kakinuma commented that the non-noble catalyst has an possibility to contribute for the construction of hydrogen society in near future.
