A paper by Prof. Kenji Miyatake et al. of Clean Energy Research Center and Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Nanomaterials Center, “Enhanced performance of all-solid-state rechargeable air batteries with a redox-active naphthoquinone-based polymer electrode” , published in Sustainable Energy and Fuels by Royal Society of Chemistry, was selected to be featured on the front cover of the journal.
In this paper, a novel naphthoquinone-based redox-active polymer was designed and synthesized to achieve higher performance all-solid-state rechargeable air battery. Prof. Miyatake commented that they will develop better performing redox-active materials for further improving the performance and cyclability of all-solid-state rechargeable air battery.
