“FCM-3D-Oxy”, the world’s first analytical system for the real-time observation of the oxygen concentration in the depth direction inside a fuel cell, developed by a group led by Prof. Junji Inukai, went on the market on May 23 by Shimadzu Corporation. This product was realized by the support from the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) under the project “Development of 3D Visualizing System for Reaction Distributions inside Fuel Cell” promoted by three universities and three companies (University of Yamanashi, Waseda University, Keio University, Shimadzu Corporation, Mizuho Information & Research Institute, Panasonic) in fiscal year 2012-2015 with Prof. Inukai as a project leader, and now commercialized by Shimadzu Corporation.
