Our paper on reforming catalysts was selected as a “Hot Paper” in Angewandte Chemie

December 13, 2010

A paper based on the research on reforming catalysts of the Fuel Cell Research Group, University of Yamanashi, was selected to receive the “Hot Paper” from the German journal Angewandte Chemie. This paper concerns the development of a new catalyst to produce highly pure hydrogen for fuel cells with high efficiency and at low cost. This work was recognized as a most notable achievement for achieving a low-carbon society.

Dear Professor Watanabe,

Your Communication "High Catalytic Performance of Ru-Doped Mesoporous Ni-Al Oxides for Selective CO Methanation" has been chosen as a "Hot Paper" by the Editors for its importance in a rapidly evolving field of high current interest. We would therefore like to publish the table of contents entry on Angewandte's homepage prior to publication of the full paper as soon as possible. Please let us know at your earliest convenience if we can proceed with the announcement or if there is any reason not to do so, such as a patent application.

Yours sincerely,
Dr. Ralf Kempf
